  • 1 piece Korean Red Pepper Sliced
  • 1 piece Serrano Pepper Sliced, optional
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Seeds For garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Fill a pot with water, adding 2 teaspoons of salt and 2 tablespoons of vinegar. Bring to a boil.
  2. Gently add 6 eggs, simmer for 6-7 minutes for a jammy yolk.
  3. Transfer eggs to an ice bath for 10 minutes to cool and stop cooking.
  4. Combine soy sauce, water, honey, onion, garlic, scallions, red pepper, and optional serrano in a bowl.
  5. Peel cooled eggs and place in an airtight container. Pour marinade over eggs, ensuring they are submerged.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.
  7. Serve with warm rice and drizzle additional marinade. Garnish with sesame seeds.
