Ingredients

For the Slaw
  • 1 cup Coleslaw Mix A homemade mix can be used for a personal touch.
  • 2 each Green Onions
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar Apple cider vinegar is a great substitute.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce Tamari can be used for gluten-free options.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Agave syrup can be a good alternative.
For Assembly
  • 12 pieces Wonton Wrappers Opt for gluten-free wrappers if needed.
  • 3 tablespoons Sweet Chili Sauce
  • ¼ cup Chopped Cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray the back of a muffin tin with cooking spray.
  2. Drape each wonton wrapper over the inverted muffin cups, press to form a taco shape, and bake for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  3. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add diced chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes until no longer pink.
  4. Stir hoisin sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger into the skillet with the chicken. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until well-coated.
  5. Combine coleslaw mix, chopped green onions, sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and honey in a bowl. Toss until well coated.
  6. Fill baked wonton shells with the chicken mixture and top with slaw.
  7. Drizzle with sweet chili sauce and sprinkle with cilantro and sesame seeds before serving.
