Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. Cream softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in egg and vanilla extract until smoothly combined.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden. Allow to cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring.
  8. Press thumbs into the center of each cooled cookie to create an indentation.
  9. Fill each indentation with vanilla custard using a piping bag or spoon.
  10. Melt chocolate chips and vegetable oil in intervals, then drizzle over the filled cookies.
