Equipment

  • Bread Machine

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by measuring out 1 cup of warm milk at around 110°F; pour it into the bread machine pan.
  2. Add 1/4 cup of sugar, 2 tablespoons of melted butter, and 1 teaspoon of salt.
  3. Next, add 3 cups of bread flour over the liquid ingredients.
  4. Make a well in the flour and sprinkle 2 teaspoons of active dry yeast into it.
  5. Set the bread machine to the 'Sweet' or 'Basic' cycle and select a medium crust setting if available.
  6. Allow the machine to knead the dough for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  7. Mix 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon with 1/4 cup of brown sugar in a bowl for the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  8. When the machine indicates it's time for the second rise, sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the dough.
  9. Close the lid and let the machine continue its cycle.
  10. Once the bread is baked, carefully remove the pan and let it cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  11. Slice and serve warm with butter or cream cheese.
