Step-by-Step Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 3-5 minutes. Once cooked, drain the tortellini and set them aside.
- While the tortellini is cooking, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat for about 6-8 minutes, then season it as desired and drain excess grease.
- Add the pasta sauce and cubed cream cheese to the skillet with the cooked ground beef. Stir until the cream cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.
- Gently fold the cooked tortellini into the meat sauce mixture, then transfer it to the greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese evenly over the mixture.
- Bake uncovered for approximately 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden on top. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes if desired.
- Let the casserole sit for about 5 minutes before serving with garlic bread or a side salad.

Notes
Ensure even coating of tortellini with sauce and layer cheese generously for a melty crust.
