For the Agua Fresca
  • 2 cups Fresh Cherries ripe and pitted
  • 2 cups Cold Water
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Agave Syrup to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice freshly squeezed
For the Garnish
  • 1 handful Fresh Mint Leaves muddled or whole
  • 1 cups Ice Cubes for serving

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Cherry Agua Fresca
  1. Rinse 2 cups of fresh cherries, remove stems and pit them.
  2. In a blender, combine the cherries with 2 cups of cold water and blend until smooth.
  3. Strain the cherry mixture using a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher.
  4. Add 2 cups of cold water and juice of 2 limes to the cherry juice in the pitcher.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetener or lime juice to your liking.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
