- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, then whisk in 1 cup of granulated sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth.
- Sift together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/3 cup of cocoa powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder. Combine with wet ingredients.
