- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, cottage cheese, egg, panko breadcrumbs, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Fold together until just combined.
- With wet hands, divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape each into a patty about ½ inch thick.
- Preheat your cooking surface. For pan-frying, heat olive oil in a skillet. For baking, preheat your oven to 400°F. If air frying, set it to 375°F.
- For pan-frying, cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden. If baking, arrange patties on a sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway. For air frying, cook for 12-14 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Transfer the patties to a plate and let them rest for 5 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
- Serve warm on their own, in buns, wraps, or atop a salad with your favorite sauces.
