- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced sirloin steak, seasoning it with salt and pepper. Sear for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- In the same pot, add a chopped onion and a diced bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Stir in 3 cloves of minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Then, pour in 4 cups of beef broth.
- Return the browned steak to the pot after the soup comes to a simmer, allow it to simmer for another 10 minutes.
