Preparation Steps
- Rinse and dry apples thoroughly, then slice into ¼-inch rings and remove the cores.
- In three bowls, mix flour and salt, whisk egg with milk, and combine breadcrumbs with cinnamon.
- Dip each apple ring in flour, then in egg wash, and finally roll in the breadcrumb-cinnamon mixture.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F. Spray basket with cooking spray and arrange apple rings in a single layer.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
- Allow to cool slightly, then serve warm, optionally dusted with powdered sugar or drizzled with honey.
