Step‑By‑Step Instructions

  2. Place chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and flatten to about 1/2 inch thick using a meat mallet.
  3. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub the spice mixture on both sides of the chicken breasts.
  4. Blend softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar until smooth to create the cheese filling.
  5. Spread a layer of cheese mixture over one side of each chicken breast, leaving a small border.
  6. Lay bacon slices side by side and place a chicken breast at one end, rolling tightly to enclose the filling.
  7. Use toothpicks to secure the bacon if necessary, ensuring it stays wrapped during cooking.
  8. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, then sear the chicken bacon wraps seam-side down for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Transfer the wraps to the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  10. Allow the wraps to rest for 5 minutes, then slice or serve whole and garnish with fresh parsley.
