  1. Begin by melting 1 ¼ cups of unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl for about 30 seconds, ensuring it’s completely melted but not bubbling.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter with 1 ½ cups of quick oats, 2 ¼ cups of all-purpose flour, and 1 ½ cups of brown sugar. Stir until crumbly.
  3. Take about two-thirds of the crumbly mixture and press it into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake at 325°F for 10 minutes.
