Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together ½ cup of mayonnaise, ½ cup of sour cream, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, and 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add 4 cups of cooked rotini or penne pasta, 1 ½ cups of cubed cooked chicken breast, and ½ cup of crispy cooked bacon pieces. Toss gently to combine.
  3. Incorporate 1 cup of halved cherry tomatoes, ½ cup of thinly sliced red onion, and 2 cups of chopped romaine lettuce into the pasta mixture. Gently fold them into the mixture.
  4. Sprinkle in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese to the salad mixture. Use a spatula to carefully fold the cheese in.
  5. Drizzle the prepared dressing over the pasta salad mixture and gently toss all the ingredients until everything is evenly coated.
