- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter or olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season 1 pound of salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper. Cook skin-side up for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove the salmon and keep warm. Lower the heat to prepare the glaze.
- In the same skillet, combine orange juice, honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Optionally add cornstarch mixed with water.
- Return salmon to the skillet, spoon glaze over the fillets, and cook for an additional minute.
- Remove from heat and serve warm.
