  • 2 tablespoons Butter or olive oil
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Orange Juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or maple syrup as vegan substitute
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce gluten-free if needed
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic or garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch optional for thickening

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter or olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season 1 pound of salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper. Cook skin-side up for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Remove the salmon and keep warm. Lower the heat to prepare the glaze.
  4. In the same skillet, combine orange juice, honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Optionally add cornstarch mixed with water.
  5. Return salmon to the skillet, spoon glaze over the fillets, and cook for an additional minute.
  6. Remove from heat and serve warm.
