  • 2 tablespoons Butter Or olive oil for a healthier alternative

  • 1/4 cup Orange Juice Freshly squeezed is best
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Can substitute with maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce Use tamari for gluten-free
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch Optional, for thickening

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter or olive oil. Allow to melt and become hot.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides. Place the fillets skin side up in the skillet.
  3. Flip the salmon gently after 3-5 minutes until golden brown and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove the salmon and tent with aluminum foil to keep warm.
  5. In the same skillet, whisk together the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Add cornstarch if using.
  6. Simmer the glaze for 30-60 seconds, stirring until thickened.
  7. Return salmon to the skillet, spoon glaze over each piece, and let simmer for another minute.
  8. Transfer the salmon onto plates, drizzling remaining glaze over the top and serve immediately.
