Step-by-Step Instructions
- Brew 1 cup of Earl Grey tea and steep for about 5 minutes. Prepare 1 cup of strong espresso or coffee and set both aside to cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 8 ounces of mascarpone cheese and 1 cup of heavy cream. Beat on medium speed for about 2-3 minutes until smooth and fluffy. Add ½ cup of granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mixing until combined and creamy.
- Dip ladyfingers quickly into the brewed coffee for 1-2 seconds per side. Lay them in a 9x9 inch dish to create a base.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of soaked ladyfingers, smoothing it out with a spatula. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Dust 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder over the top of the tiramisu.
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Notes
Allow the tiramisu to rest in the refrigerator for optimal flavor and texture. Customize with different flavored teas or fresh fruits for added brightness.
