  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Using smoked paprika deepens the flavor
  • 1/4 cup Water Used to thin the marinade

  • 1 pound Boneless Chicken Thighs Cut into bite-sized pieces

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, banana ketchup, brown sugar, white vinegar, minced garlic, chopped onion, ground black pepper, salt, paprika, and water. Whisk together until the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Add bite-sized pieces of chicken to the marinade, ensuring each piece is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat for about 10 minutes.
  4. Soak bamboo skewers in water for about 15 minutes. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.
  5. Grill skewers for approximately 5-7 minutes on each side. Baste with leftover marinade.
  6. Remove from grill and let chicken rest for a few minutes before serving hot.
