Ingredients

For the Filling
  • 1 pound Ground Beef Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Can substitute with mozzarella for a milder flavor.
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) Adjust based on your preference for garlic intensity.
For the Dough
  • 1 can Biscuit or Pizza Dough Store-bought for convenience or homemade for extra flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (melted) Infuses richness into the crust.
For Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Can be replaced with Pecorino Romano.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped) Optional for garnishing.
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • mixing bowl

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, seasoning it generously with salt and pepper, for about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess fat, then add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and let cool slightly.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the dough and cut into 3-inch squares. Place a spoonful of the beef-cheese mixture in the center, pinch the edges to seal, and roll into balls.
  3. In a bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and salt to create garlic butter. Brush this mixture over the bombs.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, arrange the bombs seam-side down, brush with garlic butter, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and puffed. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
