  • 4 fillets White Fish (Flounder, Cod, or Tilapia) Thawed
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk Milk with vinegar can be a substitute
For the Coating
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Plain Breadcrumbs Panko can be used for extra crunch
For Cooking
  • 1 spray Cooking Spray For a golden finish
Optional Sides
  • 4 servings French Fries Frozen or homemade
  • 1 cup Tartar Sauce Tangy condiment
  • 2 pieces Lemon Wedges For squeezing over

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the white fish fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix the all-purpose flour with Old Bay seasoning.
  3. In a second dish, whisk together eggs and buttermilk until smooth.
  4. In a third dish, combine breadcrumbs with any remaining Old Bay seasoning.
Dredging and Cooking
  1. Dredge each fish fillet in the seasoned flour, shake off excess, then dip in the egg mixture and finally press into the breadcrumb mixture.
  2. Place coated fillets on a plate in a single layer and lightly spray both sides with cooking spray.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Cook the fish in the air fryer for 6-10 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with French fries, tartar sauce, and lemon wedges.
