Preparation Steps
- Bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil, then remove from heat. Add 2 hibiscus tea bags or 2 tablespoons of dried hibiscus flowers and steep for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags or strain out the flowers and allow the tea to cool to room temperature for about 10-15 minutes.
- Wash and slice the strawberries, then blend them until smooth to create a puree.
- In a pitcher, combine the cooled hibiscus tea, strawberry puree, lemon juice, and maple syrup. Stir gently.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness if needed.
- Serve over ice, garnished with sliced strawberries, lemon wedges, and mint leaves.
