Preparation Steps
  1. In a heavy-bottom saucepan, pour in 4 cups of whole milk and place it over medium heat. Stir gently as it warms for approximately 5–7 minutes, until steam rises but the milk is not boiling.
  2. Once the milk is warm, reduce the heat to low. Add 1 cup of finely chopped white chocolate and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Stir continuously for about 3–4 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Carefully ladle the hot chocolate into mugs, filling each about three-quarters full.
  4. Garnish with whipped cream atop each mug. Add sprinkles, chocolate shavings, or a drizzle of chocolate syrup for an extra touch.
