  • 3 large Egg Whites At room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cream of Tartar Optional

  • 1 cup Marshmallows Or Marshmallow Fluff

Method
 

Making the Pie
  1. Blend together chocolate bar, unsalted butter, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, and salt until crumbly. Chill for 30 mins to 2 hours.
  2. Melt butter and milk chocolate over a double boiler, whisk in sugar, eggs, and sifted cocoa until smooth.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F. Pour filling into crust, bake for 25-30 minutes until set with a jiggle.
  4. Whisk egg whites and sugar over double boiler until dissolved, then beat until fluffy and glossy.
  5. Spread meringue over filling, broil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, then serve warm.
