  • ½ pound deli-sliced salami
  • ½ pound deli-sliced ham
  • ½ pound deli-sliced pepperoni
  • ½ pound deli-sliced mozzarella cheese
  • ½ pound deli-sliced provolone cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup roasted red peppers sliced
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives
  • ¼ cup banana peppers sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Baked Italian Grinder Sandwiches
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the Italian sub rolls in half lengthwise, keeping them hinged. Place cut side up on a baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, melt the unsalted butter and mix in garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brush the seasoned butter over the cut sides of the rolls.
  5. Layer the salami, ham, and pepperoni on the bottom half of each roll.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of the meats followed by provolone cheese.
  7. Add grated Parmesan, roasted red peppers, black olives, and banana peppers.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and rolls are golden.
  9. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes before slicing.
