  • 4 pieces Hamburger Buns Split and toasted

  • 20 slices Pepperoni Can be omitted or replaced with turkey pepperoni

Method
 

Pizza Burger Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently and shape into patties.
  2. Heat a skillet or grill to medium heat, around 350°F. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until browned.
  3. Preheat the oven broiler. Toast hamburger buns on a baking sheet for about 1-2 minutes under the broiler.
  4. Warm pizza sauce in a saucepan and spread over each toasted bottom bun. Add mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.
  5. Place cooked patties on the buns and top with additional pizza sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni. Broil for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately with the tops of the buns and extra pizza sauce on the side.
