Step‑By‑Step Instructions for Ramen Eggs
  1. Fill a medium pot with water and bring to a rolling boil. Lower in the large eggs using a slotted spoon and cook for exactly 6 minutes.
  2. Transfer the eggs to an ice water bath for about 15 minutes.
  3. Combine soy sauce, water, mirin, and sugar in a mixing bowl and stir until dissolved. Pour into a shallow marinating container.
  4. Gently peel the cooled eggs and place them in the marinade, ensuring they are submerged. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
