Preparation Steps
- In a large bowl, add the ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Gently mix these ingredients with your hands until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions, rolling each portion into a ball, then flattening it to create a patty.
- In a skillet over medium heat, fry the bacon strips until they are crispy and golden, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to paper towel and chop.
- Heat your grill to medium-high, aiming for a temperature around 375°F to 400°F. Lightly oil the grates.
- Place the patties directly on the grates. Grill for 4-5 minutes before flipping.
- After flipping, grill for an additional 3-4 minutes, topping each patty with cheddar cheese and chopped bacon in the last 2 minutes.
- Once cooked, remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for 2-3 minutes.

Notes
Refrigerate formed patties for at least 30 minutes before grilling for better texture. Experiment with different cheeses for unique flavors.
