Preparation Steps
- Activate the yeast by combining warm milk and granulated sugar, sprinkle yeast over and let sit until frothy.
- Prepare dry ingredients by whisking together flour and salt in a large bowl.
- Combine wet ingredients by mixing melted butter and eggs, then fold in the yeast mixture.
- Form the dough by mixing wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Make the filling by mixing brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped pistachios.
