Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 1 medium Carrot julienned
  • 1 medium Cucumber sliced thin
  • 3 Eggs beaten
  • 4 pieces Sausages pre-cooked
  • 100 grams Imitation Crab Meat optional
For the Rice Mixture
  • 2 cups Rice cooked, medium or short-grain
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds for garnish
For the Wrap
  • 4 sheets Gim/Nori

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Combine lemon juice, sugar, and salt in a bowl, then add julienned carrots. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  2. Slice cucumber into thin strips, sprinkle with salt, and let sit for 10-15 minutes. Pat dry before using.
  3. Beat eggs with salt, heat skillet, pour in eggs, cook 2-3 minutes, roll into a log, and set aside.
  4. Add oil to skillet, sauté sausages and imitation crab meat on medium heat for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  5. Combine cooked rice with salt, sugar, black pepper, and sesame oil in a bowl, mixing until sticky.
  6. Lay a sheet of gim on a mat, spread rice, then add carrots, cucumber, omelet, and sausages. Roll tightly.
  7. Slice kimbap with a knife coated in sesame oil into 9-10 pieces and serve.
