Step-by-Step Instructions for BBQ Burgers
- Combine 1 pound of ground beef, 2 cloves of finely chopped garlic, ¼ cup of chopped onion, 1 beaten egg, 1 tablespoon of barbecue sauce, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of pepper in a bowl. Mix until just combined.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F (204°C).
- Shape the meat mixture into four equal patties, about ¾ inch thick, making a small indent in the center of each patty.
- Grill the BBQ burgers for 12-14 minutes, flipping halfway until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- Brush additional barbecue sauce over the top of each patty about one minute before they're done.
- Allow the burgers to rest for a minute before serving, then place them on toasted burger buns with your favorite toppings.

Notes
For best results, use quality meat and avoid pressing down on the burgers while grilling to keep them juicy.
