Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by thinly slicing flank steak against the grain and marinate it with soy sauce and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add marinated beef in a single layer and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until browned.
  3. Add another tablespoon of oil and toss in sliced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic. Stir-fry for 3–5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Mix in minced ginger and stir constantly for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet, pour in beef broth and oyster sauce, stirring everything together. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil, season with salt and pepper, and garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
