- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the drained canned tuna and cottage cheese using a fork, mixing until cohesive yet textured.
- Add one egg, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the tuna mixture. Stir until well incorporated.
- Gently fold in the panko breadcrumbs until mixture clumps together.
- Divide mixture into 6 equal portions, shaping each into a patty about 2½ inches wide.
- Heat about 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Place patties into the hot skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove from skillet and let drain on a paper towel for a minute before serving.
