Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the drained canned tuna and cottage cheese using a fork, mixing until cohesive yet textured.
  2. Add one egg, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the tuna mixture. Stir until well incorporated.
  3. Gently fold in the panko breadcrumbs until mixture clumps together.
  4. Divide mixture into 6 equal portions, shaping each into a patty about 2½ inches wide.
  5. Heat about 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  6. Place patties into the hot skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Remove from skillet and let drain on a paper towel for a minute before serving.
