  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onion Chopped finely
For the Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce Low-sodium recommended
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust based on taste
For the Dressing
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Oil Can use olive oil if necessary
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Seeds Optional

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Rinse the spinach under cold water, trim the ends, and cut into 2-inch pieces.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add a pinch of salt. Blanch the spinach for about 30 seconds.
  3. Transfer the blanched spinach to an ice water bowl to cool, then squeeze out excess water.
  4. Combine cooled spinach with minced garlic, chopped green onion, soy sauce, salt, toasted sesame oil, and sesame seeds in a bowl.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy chilled or at room temperature.
