Cooking Instructions
- Wash and slice the bell peppers into thin strips. Mince three cloves of garlic.
- In a large skillet or wok, warm up 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the peeled and deveined shrimp in a single layer. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque, then remove from pan.
- In the same skillet, toss in the sliced bell peppers and minced garlic, stirring for 3-5 minutes.
- Return the cooked shrimp, add soy sauce and oyster sauce, stir to coat, and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- If desired, mix cornstarch with water and add to the skillet, stirring until the sauce thickens for about 1 minute.
- Stir everything for an additional minute, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot over a bed of cooked rice or egg noodles.
