Preparation Steps
- Thinly slice the yellow onion and scatter it at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, mix minced garlic, chicken broth, olive oil, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper until well blended.
- Place chicken breasts on top of the onions and pour the seasoning mixture over them.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, remove chicken, shred it with forks, and mix with remaining juices in the slow cooker.
- Warm pita bread and fill with shredded chicken, tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onions.
