Ingredients

For the Steak Bites
  • 2 pounds Chuck Steak Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup Butter Unsalted, European-style
For the Sauce
  • 1 packet Ranch Seasoning Store-bought or homemade
  • 4 ounces Pepperoncini Peppers With juice reserved
  • 3 cloves Garlic Freshly minced

Equipment

  • Slow Cooker

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by cutting the chuck steak into uniform bite-sized pieces, about one to two inches each.
  2. In your slow cooker, combine the prepared steak pieces with a generous pat of unsalted butter, ranch seasoning, and minced garlic. Add the drained pepperoncini, making sure to reserve the juice for later.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Let the mixture cook for 6 to 8 hours without lifting the lid.
  4. After the cooking time, check the sauce consistency. If it appears too thin, create a cornstarch slurry by mixing cornstarch with water and stir it into the dish. Cook uncovered on high for an additional 15 minutes.
  5. Once the sauce has thickened, it’s time to serve your delicious steak bites!
