  • 4 tablespoons Fig Jam Sweet element, can substitute with other jams
  • 1 Granny Smith Apple Granny Smith Apples Thinly sliced, can swap for other tart varieties
  • 3-4 slices Prosciutto Savory layer, can substitute with turkey or ham
  • 3-4 slices Brie Cheese Creamy, can use camembert if preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Butter Moisture barrier, optional

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Slice a fresh French baguette in half, then cut it lengthwise.
  2. Spread a thin layer of butter evenly on each cut side of the baguette.
  3. Generously spread fig jam on both halves of the baguette.
  4. Place 5-6 thin slices of Granny Smith apples on the bottom half.
  5. Add 3-4 slices of prosciutto on top of the apple layers.
  6. Place 3-4 thick slices of brie cheese over the prosciutto.
  7. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over the brie.
  8. Carefully place the top half of the baguette over the fillings.
  9. Grill the sandwich in a panini press or skillet for 2-3 minutes.
  10. Once cooked, let the sandwich rest for a minute, then slice.
