- Wash the fresh peaches thoroughly and slice each peach in half vertically, removing the pit carefully.
- In a large skillet, add the unsalted butter and turn the heat to medium. Allow the butter to melt and bubble for 1-2 minutes.
- Once the butter is melted, sprinkle in the brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt, then stir continuously for about 30 seconds until the mixture is smooth.
- Place the peach halves cut side down into the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden-brown caramelization forms.
- Gently flip the peach halves over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the skin side until heated through.
- Remove the peaches from the skillet and serve immediately, optionally drizzling with any remaining glaze and topping with ice cream.
