  • 12 units Fresh Jalapeños Smaller, fresh jalapeños are preferred.
  • 8 ounces Brie Cheese Feel free to leave the rind on for added flavor.
  • 1 cup Fresh Blueberries Can substitute with blueberry jam if preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Agave syrup can be used for a vegan option.
  • 0.5 cup Chopped Pecans Optional; can swap for walnuts or omit entirely.
  • 1 sheet Pastry Dough Optional; for a flaky crust.

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the fresh jalapeños in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and membranes.
  3. Place a generous slice of brie cheese inside each jalapeño half.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine fresh blueberries, honey, and optional chopped pecans.
  5. Carefully fill each stuffed jalapeño with the blueberry mixture.
  6. If desired, wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a piece of pastry dough.
  7. Bake the prepared jalapeño poppers in the oven for about 15 minutes.
  8. Once baked, let the poppers cool for a minute and serve hot.
