  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Ground cumin could be used as an imperfect substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Adjust according to spice preference.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust quantity based on dietary needs.
For Baking
  • 4 pieces Chicken Pieces Use bone-in or boneless as preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro Use for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, ginger, garlic, and all spices. Whisk until smooth and well-blended.
  2. Make deep slashes in chicken pieces, coat generously with marinade, and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
  3. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) about 30 minutes before baking.
  4. Line a baking tray with foil and place a greased wire rack on top.
  5. Arrange marinated chicken on the rack, spacing pieces apart. Bake for 30 minutes, then flip and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven, let rest for 5-10 minutes, garnish with cilantro, and serve with lemon wedges.
