  • 1 small Jalapeño deseeded, sliced in half

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Start by heating a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced bacon and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until it reaches a crispy golden brown. Transfer the crispy bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped crispy bacon, grated cheddar cheese, chopped chives, and halved jalapeño. Mix until well blended.
  3. Take one slice of sourdough bread and spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture over it. Place another slice on top.
  4. Heat the same skillet over medium heat. Carefully place the sandwich into the skillet and toast for about 3-4 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown.
  5. Gently flip the sandwich with a spatula and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the second side is golden and the cheese is melted.
