Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, place the bacon over medium-high heat. Sauté until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a plate and crumble once cooled.
- Melt reduced-fat margarine in the same pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and white cooking wine, simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in fat-free half and half, mozzarella cheese, and flour, continuously stirring until it simmers and thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add Brussels sprouts, cheese tortellini, cooked chicken, and half of the crumbled bacon. Season with salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Carefully pour the mixture into a greased 13x9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese and crumbled bacon over the top.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Broil for an additional 5 minutes for a crispy topping if desired.
- Once baked, let the dish rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
