  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of whole milk, 1 cup of heavy cream, and 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract over medium-low heat. Add 8 ounces of chopped white chocolate and stir frequently for about 5 minutes until melted.
  2. Continue to heat gently, allowing the mixture to come to a slow simmer. This should take about 3-5 minutes, stirring continuously.
  3. Once heated, remove from heat and gradually stir in green food coloring until desired color is achieved.
  4. Carefully pour the hot chocolate into mugs, filling them about three-quarters full.
  5. Top each mug with mini marshmallows, sprinkles, and crushed peppermint candies for a festive finish.
