Equipment

  • 9×13-inch baking dish

Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Buster Bar Ice Cream Cake
  1. Soften the ice cream by placing it on the countertop for about 10–15 minutes to make it easier to spread.
  2. Line a 9x13 inch baking dish with whole chocolate graham crackers, breaking them as needed to cover the bottom evenly.
  3. Scoop half of the softened vanilla ice cream onto the layer of chocolate graham crackers and spread it evenly.
  4. Pour the warmed hot fudge sauce over the first layer of ice cream and spread it carefully for even coverage.
  5. Sprinkle half of the red skin peanuts over the fudge layer and press gently so they stick.
  6. Add the remaining vanilla ice cream on top of the fudge and peanuts, smoothing it out to create an even layer.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining peanuts over the last ice cream layer and drizzle Magic Shell chocolate coating evenly on top.
  8. Place the cake in the freezer and allow it to set for at least 3 hours, or until firm.
  9. When ready to serve, remove from the freezer and let it sit in the refrigerator for about 30–45 minutes before cutting into neat squares.
